The new season premiere is tonight. Anyone going to watch? From what I understand there's a guy from my town on there so I'm going to check it out to see how he does.

Chef Ramsey really annoys me, but I get a kick out of watching all the contestants scramble when he starts screaming at them.

Last night's episode really had me cracking up. The older gentleman Aaron....I have no idea how they pick these people but he really REALLY doesn't belong there. First the cowboy hat and then all the crying...come on now!!! This season is going to be pretty entertaining.

I don't think the cowboy will last very long, he has a breakdown at the drop of a hat. I was ticked off at the girls for the way they totally shunned Julia. None of them could even cook an egg except for her. Not sure what to think of Melissa yet, she seems like she knows her stuff and is the most "together" one there, but I haven't decided if I like her or not. She seems a little arrogant so far.

Agree. It was interesting to see their level of snobishness (I just made up my own word there) just because she cooks at Waffle House. She whooped your tail when cooking an egg didn't she?

I was pretty shocked last night. I thought for sure Aaron was going to be sent home. His whining and crying and lack of team effort is enough to kick him out. It's interesting to see that Ramsey actually feels sorry for him. For all the yelling, cursing and screaming he does, he really does seem like a good guy. Maybe that's why they are keeping Aaron around. It allows the viewer to see the softer side of Chef.

I never thought of that, it's a good possibility. I cracked up laughing when they woke them up so early and they got all excited because they were "going fishing."
I don't know what to say about Bonnie.. she likes umm, showing off? Still liking Julia and Rock.

I watched about half the premiere last night and then the new episode. It was interesting. I also was happy to see that Melissa didn't put Julia up on the chopping block after all the others ganged up on her, but I was surprised that Chef Ramsey actually declared the guys the winners at all on that one--didn't the women get some appetizers out at least, thanks to Melissa and Julia?

I kept expecting Aaron to keel over face first into some food.

mmm...dover sole. I am not a fish fan at all but dover sole is gooood.

Well... Melissa turned out even nuttier than I first thought. I'm glad she's gone. The guys sure aren't doing very well, but they manage to pull out a win now and then. I like Rock, but his temper tantrum really threw me off. Still liking Julia too.
