the great Twilight rewrite

Posted 08-27-2008 at 03:51 PM by missfuneralsong (.: The Sound of Drums :.)
I'm sure everyone in existence has heard of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight book series by now - the tale of teenager Bella Swan, who moves to a new town and falls in love with a vampire. And don't murder me for saying so (I used to love Twilight, really I did), but I am one of a large number of people who read these books purely out of a combination of morbid curiosity and the desire for lolz. [s]Also because ALICE IS AWESOME.[/s]

I am in love

Posted 08-23-2008 at 11:32 PM by missfuneralsong (.: The Sound of Drums :.)
Fangirl love, anyway. With the Fifth Doctor! He was played by Peter Davison from 1982-84 and I WISH I COULD ADD IMAGES TO MY POSTS SO I COULD SHOW YOU. I cannot, however, so I'll use my Literary Skillz to describe him.

Fivey is young (only in appearance, though, because anybody who's anybody knows that the Doctor is over 900 years old), with fair hair and an intelligent face. He has a love of cricket and this shows in his clothing - a white shirt and jumper and pinstriped...

La Vie Boheme omg

Posted 08-08-2008 at 02:09 AM by missfuneralsong (.: The Sound of Drums :.)
Um, so, if I don't post in RPs very much today or whatever it's because I feel utterly terribly sick with this Evil Virus of Evil and can't bring myself to do anything that takes more thought than...well, posting a blog.

Ouch. I just yawned and it hurt. HALP PLZ D:

I'll just content myself by sitting over here and defying my chronic headache by listening to the Rent soundtrack over and over again. My playcount for it has just reached 100! Go, me!

Doctor Who - City of Death, review and squeeing

Posted 08-05-2008 at 08:58 AM by missfuneralsong (.: The Sound of Drums :.)
Me again, guys! Verdana is now my official Lage blog font. Hooray!

So I spent a fair chunk of last night and today watching classic Doctor Who - specifically the Fourth Doctor serial, City of Death - and there's a bit of nitpicking but mostly squeeing to be done on the subject. WARNING: SPOILERS.

First of all, Romana. Let's just get this out of the way first, since it's the most pressing matter out of all of them....
