her motives were purer tho, she just didnt want her husband to leave. Charlie though did it for revenge, i think its different.
But she should have realized that an innocent person could have gotten hurt..jut like Charlie should have realized that Sun might have gotten hurt..even though neither one of them intended it to happen. She schemed and tried to poison Jin and Michael got hurt and I'm sure Michael could not have cared less that it was 'done for love'. All he would care about was that he got sick! Sun is now the 'innocent' and she would not give a flying flip about Sawyer/Charlie's grievances..all she would know is she knocked herself out while trying to get away. The motives don't matter to the person who gets hurt. Sun probably realizes this now that even though her motives were not sinister it was still wrong...and the point is you don't try to control other people's lives...not for imagined wrongs or for 'love'.
kate suggested the poisoning, i wonder if Sun would have done something as drastic as that without her help. i dont think if Sun found out it was Charlie she'd think it was karma returned or would get angry
It doesn't matter who suggested it. She went along with it. Like I said..Michael wouldn't care whose idea it was or who started it. All he would care was that someone caused his stomach to hurt and made him sick. Its the innocent person that matters...not the motivation about why it happened. Sun is the innocent here .. All she cares is that her head hurts.
Wow, tonights episode was the most shocking epi for me ever. Charlie and Sawyer? Never saw that coming, although I thought Charlie might have had something to do with Sun's abduction and then thought Nah. I feel strangely betrayed I really thoought both guys had reformed somewhat. Then again I guess I shouldn't be surprised by a druggie and a con man. Anyone else blown away?
I had thought they both reformed too... especially in the last ep... I was yelling at my television because of how Charlie was being treated by everyone... he's done soooooooo much honest, good things for Claire, and that was just heart-breaking to watch. However, after this ep... I think they may know something I don't. I was shocked to see Charlie act this way, interesting as it was. I'm guessing this is how he is going to act when he is backed against a wall, when everyone turns on him... he doesn't get mad, he gets even.
That explains him well... but Sawyer...
They can only play out that whole "Sawyer hates himself & wants everyone else to hate him" thing for so long...

I was prepared to be more upset than I was for this ep... I had heard about, as it being a turning point for Sawyer's character, so I downloaded it off of itunes last night, because I couldn't wait for next weeks repeat (I haven't seen ahead) ... I was less upset because of Kate's reaction. I think Kate did brush it off a bit, and as much I love, love, love Skate... She definitely should've been a bit more angry... she should've reminded him that she was the one at his bedside, not sleeping when he had been shot...
I was surprised to see Sawyer "play" Kate... with his tiger analogy... I see what he's getting at... but still...
In either event, "Born to Run" pissed me off more... I thought it was over for Skate mid-way through that ep... luckily it was resolved by the end... but I think this time... these events are going to have lasting effects.

i didnt think it would be that good first. but after watching it, it was a good episode actually. but i never understood why charlie did that to sun, that surprised me, i just thought it was one of the others.
but wheres the jate not fair for the last few episodes skate has overtaken i still like sawyer though, funny how hes happy and helpfull one minute and the next hes angry and everyone hates him again
