Unlike the other ones to precede it this season, this episode exceeded expectations -- the first one in season five to get me really enthused about Lost once again. I gave it a score of 10 and I don't do that for episodes often.
Jin saves Danielle & Alex (remember scenes with pregnant Claire? - he's come a long way), he reunites with Sawyer (so touching), he demands Charlotte translate (a hilarious scene), he challenges Locke's logic (about time somebody does), and he protects his wife & baby (so much integrity - to trust Locke's promise). 10 for Jin!
This is the first episode this season I've rated a 10. There were so many great moments, among my favorites were, Jin reunited with Sawyer and Locke. Sun finding out Jin is alive. Christian telling Locke to say hi to his son. The return of the smoke monster and the ending, it was great to see most of the oceanic six together, getting ready to go back to the island and Desmond joining them, I have no idea how they will convince Desmond to go back but I can't wait to find out. It was a good reveal about Mrs Hawking being Daniel's mum, good call to those here that guessed that, I didn't even make the connection!
I've never really liked Charlotte so her death didn't really bother me, it was a sad scene though with some powerful performances.
