Eko-locating the name for the fence

Hey Gregg, I have another one for you.

The barrier surrounding the barracks has been referred to as both a "SONAR fence" and a "sonic fence". We're trying to sort out an official name for it on Lostpedia. The problem is that SONAR typically refers to an underwater method for echolocation. The enhanced episodes keep referring to it as a SONAR fence, but Juliet said it was a "sonic fence or something". Seems to me the smart Dharma scientists would know that SONAR is used underwater and these pillars are above ground.

Now if the island is Atlantis and they were built when the island was sunk... I could see it.
