Rousseau is definitely dead. They've confirmed it. They've also confirmed that this does NOT interfere with their original promise of telling her story.

As far as the Others go, I'm not sure 'how' we're supposed to know that the 'Sheriff' lady is dead. She was never even hinted at after 3x09.

Yeah, we only know that she is dead b/c Darlton have said, off-show, that they miscast her and now she is dead. But canon-wise she's not 100% officially dead in-show.

IIRC they confirmed Isabel's death in the podcast after TTLG.

I'm sure they said she was one of the Others who raided the camp and got blown up by the dynamite traps the Losties set up in the tents

What about Harper, whats the fate on her. We were never confirmed her fate exactly, she wasn't seen in any episodes among the others after the other woman, she may as well join Isabel with an offscreen death. lol

I'm convinced that when we saw her in the present she was an apparition, which would make her dead.
