Well, I guess we'll have to wait another week to see Frank emerge from the water. I was expecting a brief sequence at the end of 'Across The Sea' showing a soggy Lapidus. Nope. Still, it'll be worth the wait.

As far as his character being wasted here - it's not like there hasn't been any precedent on lost before - Shannon, Libby, Charlotte, Ilana, and probably a few more I'm missing.

I think he is dead. He was a minor character in our 6 seasons even though he was in major scenes. But we will see.
