2.02 Circus Circus

Just got through watching this episode, and I'm not sure what to think. I hear the ratings are way down this season, so maybe it won't matter what I think anyway!

Well, I continue to really love Emerson and Olive, and to care about their subplots. The writing is always excellent (especially love the voice overs, always so witty) and the visuals.

But, it really is the relationship between Chuck and Ned that ruins it all for me. It is just way to cheesy. In fact, Chuck in general does very little for me as a character. I'd like to see Ned and Olive make a go of it. That would be much more amusing. The whole storyline of Chuck moving out and Ned being sad is just so BLAH. I don't know. Is anyone else feeling the same way?

The ratings are down for the networks across the board. There are some shows that are still doing well, but the strike has taken its toll on a lot of shows. I wouldn't worry too much about it just yet...

On a different note - I LOVED the clown car with the propeller. I did expect a little more from a PD episode at the circus but entertaining.
I wish Olive would get her pie-hole back to the PieHole tho.
