Brilliant episode. I was beginning to despair for Lost due to the distance which was beginning to separate it from its roots, but this episode and Jughead connected it all back together again. One thing that interests me is how we, as an audience, are being drawn back to the island just like Jack. The LA scenes seem turgid, listless and boring compared to the events on the island.
best episode EVER!!!!!
the whole time i was watching i was saying to myself: "I love this show, I love this show!"
it was amazing, brillint!!!! fantasic!!!!
great sawyer line too:
Sawyer:"thank you lord!!" "I take that back" brilliant!!! loved it! (Sawyer is back in town!!-lol)
and Ben is right, from the looks of all the nose bleeds - they are running out of time!!
Oh and Jin is alive!!!!! wow!!! (i kinda knew it though, in my heart)
but there was one thing that didnt make sence - Jin was found by Daniel...but she said they arrived on a boat in the 19th century - the people with her - looked very modern....???
I gotta say, the scene of Sawyer watching Claire and Kate delivering Aaron was perfect. I shed tears. Josh Holloway owned every moment of that scene while the beautiful music just enhanced it. Great job.
It was so well played by Josh, it here wasn't a need for him to depend on shedding tears as a way to communicate Sawyer's heartbreak in that moment
Sawyer talking to Juliet - not a hint of this rumoured romantic tension, but instead a growing mutual respect. Add in their sarcastic banter & there are the makings of a great friendship.

LOL. Fab! Between him & Miles there were a good couple of funny moments.
The comments from Evi's Lost mag interview when she says of Kate & Jack that "she serves him by being connected to the community" & "she is almost like the consultant to the king", were again displayed in the boat scene where Kate plainly states that she's always had Jacks back. That's exactly what you'd expect from any good comrade/right-hand girl.
Ben admitting to trying to take Aaron was great & somewhat comical. It was just the way he delivered the line in a flat "yeah you got me" kind of way. Only someone very stupid would believe Ben wouldn't use a mother's love to get what he wants - he always has an ulterior motive & never completely reveals everything he knows. Kate was bright enough to figure out he was behind the lawyers visit as soon as she got out of the car & laid eyes on him. Emmerson plays the role superbly & TBH, Ben's machinations are the only thing still keeping me interested in the O6 side of the story - I've much preferred the on-island parts of the show.
Jack still hasn't adressed his need to "fix" everything
All in all one of my favorite episodes of the season so far...plenty of character driven moments.
What a flipped out amazing one huh guys? You had lots of the mythology, romance, and everything!
I felt so sorry for Sawyer when he was watching Kate with Claire in the jungle...and you know he was probably thinking about what he'd said to her before she left the Others village. "What would we do with a baby..?" Now he got to see it from Kate's POV, and it added so much depth to the scene.
The thing that really (aside from the "I've always been with you" line) knocked me for a loop, was that Carole had no knowledge of Aaron, and JIN was in the wrong timeline, going .
Really great pick actress wise for a match up for Danielle too!

Yup, posted my theory about them on the Suliet thread. I'm not reading too much into what's going on with them just yet, right now it's more foxhole mentality, and that's cool. After all they deserve to have some sense of grounding...maybe they're each other's constants?
