At the beginning of the scene when Locke speaks with Walt, there's a close up of a New York license plate. More specifically, it's a liberty plate (named for the Statue of Liberty, of course). Those license plates haven't been legal since 2002.
Considering that the scene starts with that visual cue, I have to think it's intentional, rather than some sort of mistake.
I hope they're not doing the "Dark Tower" thing where it supposes there are millions of universes "just like ours." If they added alternate dimensions to this show, I may have to throw my remote through the TV.
Stand, The - Cars in the Lincoln Tunnel
When Larry is walking through the Lincoln Tunnel, he looks in a car on his right. When the shot pulls back we see that the car on his left (and behind a little) has the number plate SZU-766. He looks into the next car on his right, and again the car on his left is SZU-766. Then he looks in the car on his left (which in bumper to bumper traffic should be a couple of cars in front of the original SZU-766) When it pulls back the number plate is a little fuzzy, but I'm sure it's the same car.
