HARPER: And I see you and my husband have become friendly.
JULIET: Yeah. He's great. He's been really helpful.
HARPER: When did you start sleeping with him

I always assumed Juliet reminded Ben of Annie, his boyhood girlfriend, but...

I thought since the time travel was introduced this season that Juliet looking just like her means Juliet is her. I suppose I'm right now she is back in Dharma time.

I thought of this as well. I think its right on and a great catch. For all we know young Ben made had a big crush on Lafluer's wife. Maybe she died in the purge and ben has been looking for her ever since.

Another thought and this may be out there but what if Ben created the whole dying duirng berth scnario in order to make an excuse to bring Juliet to the Island. Remeber Richard believed it to be unimportant and a distraction. Perhaps the whole thing was created by Ben in some type of sick romantic love twist. Wouldn't put it past him.

Totally makes sense. It would also explain Ben's obsessiveness/possessiveness and boyhood jealousy of her, since he's had this crush since he was a boy. Still probably some Oedipal issues too, but Juliet could definitely be her.
