Radzinsky was probably a pretty high member of the DI, because by the look of it he's the one who designed the Swan. The scale model of the the ceiling of the computer room is intriguing because it looks like it was a complete circle. Also why hasn't the swan been built yet.
I am guessing that has something to do with jughead, or in relation to where it was built. This will be very interesting to find out why it hasn't been built yet and what the Dharma wanted to accomplish by building it. Gotta love Lost!!!
Did he design the Swan, or was he just building the model for the orientation film? He seemed to say something about Sayid seeing the design plans (can't rewatch as I'm in a hotel), so I'm not sure if he designed it or is just involved with it somehow.
To me it seems that Sawyer and Radzinksi are pretty much at the same level in the DI. Radzinski seemed to defer to Sawyer when he wanted to speak with Sayid and dismissed shooting him. Then whe Radzinksi mentioned Horace, Sawyer definitely didn't seem concerned about that. From "Laflue" it seems that Sawyer is pretty close with Horace, or pretty high up in the ranks. Just my opinion though.
So I guess Radzinsky gets transferred to the Swan after it gets built? I wonder what drove Radzinsky to shoot himself. I hope we get to see Kelvin again!

I don't think Radzinsky shot himself, personally, I think Kelvin was lying.
And Radzinsky ending up at the Swan could have been because he overheard Faraday or Sawyer or someone talk about the purge. He could have seen it coming and wanted to defend the Swan, make a last stand of sorts if it came to that.
Plus, if he's behind that Blast Door Map and part of the DI, I have to think that he had some sort of falling out with DHARMA. Why make a map? What purpose does it serve? He knew he was being watched or else he wouldn't have made it in invisible ink.
And wouldn't he, being in the Flame, had all sorts of manuals and maps of the stations? Makes me think that Radzinsky to the Swan wasn't a transfer, but a quick hurried decision on his part.
I'm hoping this leads to the unraveling of some of the original hatch mysteries
like explanations of items on the blast door map
SERIOUSLY!

I can't wait for more DHARMA info.
I also don't think Rad killed himself. Never believed that. All of your points are really interesting! Maybe he wasn't drawing the map because he was figuring things out about DHARMA. Maybe he was making a map that he specifically wanted someone else to find and use. Maybe Locke? I don't know. It's so complicated!

No button pushing pre-1977? Why start pushing in the first place?
"The incident".
What I'm looking forward to is seeing who decides what the numbers should be. Either their meaning will be explained, or, my guess, Hurley is given that job and it's a self-fulfilling prophecy of sorts. Remember Lost's original name was "The Circle".
