Also, I don't have screen caps, but the Observer walked across a crosswalk in the front of the frame about 2/3 of the way through, not one of the subtle "it was on a security monitor on some guy's desk in the background" kind of appearances.

He crossed the screen, right as Liv and the Bishops were walking toward the building where the jumpers were. It was right before the camera panned up to show up the jumpers.

I can't believe I missed him! I was stopping the show at all the huge crowd scenes and was trying to keep an eye out through out the show and I missed that completely. Sheesh.

Oh, and is the Observer from this parallel universe?

Maybe. Is that who the ZFT warriors are supposed to fight? I kind of feel like the Observor is benign, even though he shows up at all the worst moments, it doesn't seem like he's causing any of the problems...

IIRC, they said to fight a coming war with a parallel universe. Would they maybe be fighting their parallel selves?

I don't know how to "read" ratings, but coming in first place, and getting the word "hit" used to describe the show, well I know that's good!

I think you are right. When they were in Nick Lane's apartment, one of the newspaper cutout headlines on the wall was "Doppelgangers are among us".
