There were some good moments in this finale and some real stinkers. The good-Finally we meet Jacob and his opposite. I am not going to call him Esau because I am not buying that theory at least not yet.I really loved Jacob spinning the tapestry. Its a very nice metaphor for how Lost tells its story and how each characters life or thread combines to create the tapestry. What I hated was the death of Juliet. Juliet has always been cool calm and collected since we first met her.Oh but not in this episode! She is completely falling apart because she feels Kate is a threat to her relationship with Sawyer. This drives her to side with lovelorn Jack in his new found purpose to erase history by exploding a hydrogen bomb because they can't stand the pain of losing in love Seriously? Locke not being Locke did not thrill me either-IF that is the case.

I finally re-watched it. It was interesting to listen to Esau and Jacob talk at the beginning and Richard and Locke, that was very interesting. "Locke" never answered any of Richard's questions when he said Ben told me you died. Never once did "Locke" answer. He only gave evasive responses that sounded like answers, but weren't. Quite a different viewing the second time around. I gave it a 9.

Laughing like two loons at my peeps who were unhappy. Where's ur faith??!!?? Loved it, warts and all (not that many, and some may turn out to be 'beauty spots' next season!! Cmon, I'd reather walk the knife edge of the silver lining than live in the gloom of the cloud! My rating: a 9. I explain my feelings more in the 'Loved it' thread, so won't repeat here. Thankyou Lost cavalcade of talent!

This episodes gets a 10 from me simply for the James/Juliet separation, Locke being rolled out of the box, a bloodied/broken Juliet striking the bomb & finally getting to see Jacob.

There were definitely some questionable moments like the reasons given for the Losties blowing up the island (WTF?), but overall I loved it.
