She "touched" just as Jacob touched the O6.
The Lake has always been a flash point. If you have good lung's making it to the other side is not a problem.

But what about a Coke bottle? The Gods must be crazy!

You remind me of the Monkey that stuck his hand in the termite nest!

Astring as played by Shotgun Willie.

Mittlelos Outstanding Employee Award goes to Juliet. Fiat Lux.

"Fiat Lux" said the bushman too?

Go back to the podcast where TPTB discuss Plasticman moving around from one room to another. Let Plasticman(men) deliver the Bic Lighter to the bushman(men). Flip the series 1+1+1+... = 1 to instead read 1 = 1+1+1+...

Willie would have made a great Dark man on the Island.

I said it before, Light of Other Days.

It has a long reach but might have a problem seeing what it is trying to grab hold of in the next room.

Willie's song is at the heart of the disagreement between Jacob and his Dark other half...

Fiat Lux. But for a change we get a female-centric creation myth?

No problem with Plasticman's sight or touch. TPTB describe a "1" that can coexist as a plurality of "1's" without contradiction or paradox. 1=1+1+1... Time and space are illusions created by our minds to prevent paradox and allow the orderly "unwinding" of things. It is one of the rules that went into the building of this "particular" universe.

Who knows what other rules were used. Casuality at the macro or micro scale? At what point do we abandon it or has that choice already been made for us? Thankfully our brains are not wired... yet, to recognize or comprehend these situations.

By asking or knowing what "1" is doing, you also know what all the other "1's" must be doing. Free will and reality exist for 1 but must not for the rest. Enslaved to time and space by the choice made by the other.

As with all illusions, the harder you look, the harder the illusion is to detect. It's always a good bet to take a step back and look first before asking?

There was a old woman who lived in a shoe. She had so many children she didn't know what to do.

She's been here for most of the trip.

Do you think there is more than one?

That depends on how clever the illusionist is. The truth is out there..

I believe the theory is relevant. The threads are old, but BM gave you a great link, with others noted in the thread as well. Explore and have fun. I think Locke found a loophole in the wormhole and skipped over his death. Unless LOST becomes a Zombie show, I'm going with Wormhole.

I did read it, almost too much info for my brain to comprehend but I tried

Funny you mentioned Locke, I was curious as to why Locke was chosen to be embodied and not someone else after all the years and all the visitors to the island.
I hate to be cynical and I think John was chosen because of his naivety and being so gullible. I do hope I'm wrong.

what if we are witnessing someone who was told about the loophole. So, in other words, Locke went back in time BEFORE Ben killed him and resent himself into the NORMAL time, where he was killed. I know, it is weird, but Locke could well be just LOCKE. I would rather have this theory than zombies. However, Christian, Locke and Boone were all spotted standing in the water after they had died. Water and death seem to follow each other around the Island. AND the Hurley-Bird did say Hurley's name. So, maybe some people can be possessed after death. Maybe the bodies are used by Smokie?
