"Unlike Locke, I want to go home..."

Any thoughts as to why:
  • He wants to go home.
  • Why he hasn't gone, left the island yet
  • Where that home is
  • How long has he been away, and how he knows "home" is still there?

He hates all the humans on earth.
His spaceship is buried.
In a galaxy far far away.
Home is always there if you can control your location in time.

I'm thinking home is actually the temple... only because we've seen smokey there (or outside the walls at least) in Jin's trip there with young Danielle.
Maybe he was somehow evicted by the Others or Jacob? I dunno.

When Flocke said he wanted to go home my first thought was, another planet. But it could be anything.

It was an interesting comment since right before it he made it sound like everyone else was crazy for wanting to go home to their sad, insignificant lives.

In these tough times...MIB lost his home (the temple) to foreclosure and wishes he could go back..but now the new owners are telling him not a chance we got a killer pool here.

I got the same feeling when he said that too. Like everyone had meaningless lives, and they should have been so lucky to be on that island. Almost like he was doing everyone a favor by taking them away from their lives...

LOL! You may be right. They do put a lot of Wizard of Oz references in the show.

There was a time when I would have thought no way to another planet theory. But now - I'm open to anything. The Little Prince?

Yeah, that was pompous of him. Hurley didn't have a miserable life. Sayid was going to find Nadia and hopefully reunite with her. Jack was a little messed up from his daddy issues but not so much that he couldn't get past them. Sawyer has a good sense of humor despite killing the wrong guy.
