Charlie, Hurley, and the Baby and Sawyer too.

I loved the sweet subplot with the guys trying to take care of the baby. Dom and Jorge are particularly gifted at the light comedy moments in the show. Nice break from some of the heavier drama.

Yeah, I was crying one minute and giggling the next minute. It was so cute with the whole Sawyer thing. I got all warm and fuzzy!

And that baby seems to have formed some kind of adoration for the sound of Sawyer's voice! * * *I agree, Hurley and Charlie were definitely adorable with the baby. *And, I absolutely cracked up at Jin's reaction to the baby. *He was like, "Noooooo.......thank you." *

I think the Sawyer reading scene and the Hurley singing scene were two of the best moments this whole season! * SO CUTE! That even made me like Sawyer a heck of a lot more.

Re: Charlie, Hurley, and the Baby and Sawyer too.

I can see why the baby "Turnip Head" was calm when Sawyer would talk, I could listen to his voice all day as well.** :malelovies: For such a sad start to an episode, the comic relief with the men and the baby was nice. From Charlie naming the baby Turnip Head to the wonderful vocal stylings of Hurley to story time with librarian Sawyer, it was a nice way to lighten the story up a bit.

I wonder if they chose to use "Turnip head" for any specific reason? Turnips are considered medicinal in some cultures. Maybe the baby has healing power over our beloved castaways?

I agree lostfan4ever and Gattuch, it was a nice reprieve from the heaviness of the eppy. They used Sawyer for that too with the glasses. Is he the new comic relief? I love him funny, but I love his gruff side too, and they can't replace Hurley!

I thought it was sweet that Sawyer would do that in front of others too, and give up his time, helping the group. ;D

I found it sorta out of his character that he'd do that and not have much objection, but maybe he's just a big softy inside :P

I looked up Turniphead, and it turns out the only use for it is someones online name, and that President Bush is called a Turniphead all the time. ???
