Kate runs. We know that. She runs from the Marshall. She hides and runs from cops. She tracks people. She follows Sawyer. Blah blah Kate's M.O.
Did we really learn anything new about what Kate does? Or just confirmation on what Kate does?
She knocks Aldo and the other dude out before they can explain who has been setting traps around the Island. I'm sure the other guy would have come around to explaining that it was Claire. That could have saved Kate a lot of trouble.
Old, pre-island, original reality Kate would have taken Claires money and continued to run. New and slightly improved alt Kate, with a glimmer of redemption and goodness did the right thing. She went back to help Claire and to return her things to her.
The point of this episode is that it appears in OtherLost, Kate is innocent.
Well...she didn't actually come right out and say that. She just asked Claire how she would react if she did.
One thing I caught is that, at one point, the camera caught her smirking like she was, perhaps, enjoying the thrill of the chase. I have to admit I was spoiled to this, so I might be reading in, but I felt like I saw that.
But actually, what I was thinking right from the get go was that the title wasn't intended to portray that they were going to say something new and deep about Kate. Rather, I thought it was a way of saying "Well, we treated on 'What Kate Did'...now, with this alternate timeline, she 'does' it in the present tense."
