Locke is Hobbes but who is Locke - Jacob?
Clearly TPTB having been having much fun with 17th and 18th c. British social theorists. Much of S6 is shaping up as classic Hobbes v. Locke understanding of human nature.
People are inherently bad - MIB- Thomas Hobbes.
or
People are inherently good - Jacob - John Locke.
So why the name inversions? and why no Hobbes (and would having a Hobbes lead to a Calvin?).
I prefer to see this more an allegory of social theory, closer to the folks who see this as a critique of current global politics and esp. Bush the younger as opposed to a more hackneyed good vs. evil, god vs. satan religious tract...
