O.M.Freakin'G! That's was an awesome chunk of awsomeness of awsome proportions!
Back from LA, and I finally got the chance to watch. I'm in shock. Not equipped to discuss much of that at this point.

Yeah, totally. Looks like Walter went mad on both sides!
I'm preparing myself for the heart-rending moment when Peter realizes that Walternate is a nutcase who brought him to the other side not because he loved him, but because he needs to use him in a plot to destroy our universe. That's my speculation, anyway.

I really hope not. I could see it being tech from wherever the Observers are from. But for it to be some sort of ancient artifact of a world-ending device whose design is on some ancient parchment...throw in a hot babe with stick-straight red hair, and you've got an ep of ALIAS...wait a minute....

Never seen redshirts take half an ep to go down, and then when they do, go down in a fiery, passionate embrace causing third-degree burns to another character. They even had their own code line -- "I think I'm gonna stay here." Not bad for a bunch of two-ep bit characters. When it comes down to it, they
were redshirts, but compared to the redshirts on Star Trek, from which the term is derived, their death scenes were epic! No "Captain, I think I found something -- AAAAIIIIIGGHHHH!!" here.
