"Fall Finale?"

Fox is calling tonight's episode of "Prison Break" the "Fall Finale of Prison Break." I guess that means that "What Kate Did" is the "Fall Finale of Lost." Thanks for the new phrase, media-type people...another sign of the apocalypse.

Me thinks that Prison Break was only ordered for half the season run (12 eps) and did so well they got a full order or episodes and are scrambling as to how to get the other 12 written...so this is the fall end..take a break (write FAST) and come back after Christmas with the other half of..whatever it is you do after breaking in to a prison to just break out...yeah..LOST makes no sense..yesh.

Fox actually had planned it this way last year. They break up their year, with some shows running in the fall and others in the winter. It's at their schedule page and has been since last summer. Fox may not have been sure Prison Break would be so successful, but they aren't taking it off because they have to write new episodes, they always had planned to have 24 go on in January and move House to Monday nights.

ABC should follow the example of "24" on FOX--start the season later and have NO repeats! (Until the first run of new shows has been completed.)

Am I understanding correctly that there will be no new Lost episodes in December?

New epis of Lost until 12/14/05 and then on a 3 week hiatus do to the holidays.

But still...wouldn't you be willing to wait an extra month/month and a half so that there would be no repeats during the first run?

Actually, it turns out that "Prison Break" isn't returning until March. Sort of a "Spring Premiere." Thank God we have newer "Losts" than that!

Where did you get that information? My understanding is that tonight's episode is the last new one until mid-January.
