I thought is was very kind of them to approach her and offer her food. It shows that Jin & Sun are good - I wonder if they are in danger of being taken by the 'others'.

Since Michael was able to forgive Jin for the attack upon him, since Jin was able to forgive Sun for the lies about her ability to speak English (by the way, she hasn't been forthcoming about poisoning Michael yet) and since Jin was able to forgive Michael about the temper tantrums and attacks . . . well, I'm not that surprised.
