I was just wondering what anyone else thought about the fact that Shannon and Boone were seated in Business in row 9 and Charlie went past them to go to the bathroom. He then grabbed the first seat he could. Therefore weren't these guys in the cockpit part of the plane which landed in the jungle?
I wonder if because they survived they somehow cheated fate, and now both Shannon and Boone are dead, which begs the question, is Charlie next?
I thought Charlie was in the fore of the plane, as well. Though some would contend the scene was just poorly edited, and gave an incorrect impression of where he actually seated. Is that true that Boone and Shannon were in the front? And the pilot is dead too. Hmmm....
im not too great on my knowlegde of planes but if i remember correctly. Shannon and Boone were not allowed in first class and isn't first class at the front of the plane behind the cockpit, therefore Charlie boone and Shannon would have been behind first class in the middle section of the plane.
yeah I think that Charlie, Shannon and Boone were all in the middle section, although it was shown a little oddly. I thought he was at the front of the plane for a long time and it confused the heck out of me. THe Middle section just seems to be very long, but never having been on a big plane I have no idea how many long the "middle" section of a plan is.
The first class section is right in the nose of the plane, pretty much underneath where the cockpit is. (Unless they have changed them dramatically from when that 1 time that I flew in first class, lol). From memory, it is about the same size as one section of the plane.
Business class is usually the same as first class and goes for usually one section.
Economy is the rest of the plane and is (I think... I flew a few months ago, I should remember this, lol) 3 sections long???
I looked at www.oceanic-air.com and checked out the seating plan and if you look at it and where Charlie was sitting and follow his path it makes sense.
That is interesting, Charlie was in the bathroom in the front of the plane. If you look at http://www.oceanic-air.com/seatingchart.htm He got up from his seat 29C went towards the front of the plane, moved across the aisle that Shannon 9F and Boone 9E where sitting in and continued to the front. and entered the lavatory on the front right of the plane. He was in there when they hit turbulance and grabbed the first seat he could find. When Kate, Jack and Charlie find the cockpit Charlie goes into that lavatory to retrieve his heroin that he was about to flush just before the crash.
The first empty seat he found upon leaving the bathroom must have been in busniess class. Perhaps all of the first class passengers were in their seats.
