Symbols on Counter

They correlated with the hatch symbols...i saw an arrow

Well, one was a bird, one was a crooked staff or something. The other... I can't quite describe or remember what it was. I only saw three, did you see more?

They're Egyptian. Or at least looked it.

I'm not sure what they are, but I feel that they are the symbols for the various hatches. One of the ones we didn't see was probably a swan.

Four were shown. Three solid. The fourth for only a brief moment.

I think they were hieroglyphics. I remember in middle school learning what they stood for.
