Re: watching lost dvd on laptop

What kind of laptop do you have? D'oh you said Dell! Sorry! And are you using it unplugged? I have a Dell and the pic is better on it if the power is plugged in (it seems brighter) I have watched Lost on it and there should be a software that the DVD sets up? (will check on this tho) Not media center or Media player but it was pretty good. Cine-something or other, might have come with Sonic

Re: watching lost dvd on laptop

Forgive me for being totally technology impaired, but would I need to have any special video card in my laptop to view the DVDs? It never even crossed my mind to watch them on here. It would make my life wonderful if I could pop a Lost DVD in my laptop while my 8 yr old is watching Wrestling Mania DVDs on the television LOL

Yes, you do need a standard video card to see anything and all computers/laptops come with one... however you only need a special video card for games and gaming.. As long as you have a DVD player installed in your laptop... you're good to go.

Re: watching lost dvd on laptop

I watch mine on a HP Pavilion 1280x760 widescreen laptop and I love it! For me, it's superclear and better than watching it on my TV. I use InterVideo WinDVD that came installed, and includes an easy one-click button for screencaps!
