Simple question do you think Henry's little speech about the ambush will come to pass just the way he said it? Is it some kind of bluff - or double bluff? Would the writers really tease us with the suggestion of something as exciting as an ambush followed by a hostage negotiation, to then NOT have it happen?
Personally I hope that there's an ambush, because it would add some serious drama to the show, BUT I can't fathom why Gale would actually reveal his masterplan to Jack and Locke...so I don't know.
Perhaps if they crossed the line Mr. friendly told them not to cross, otherwise I doubt theyll get ambushed. Theyll see something at the crash site that someones wants them to see then go back and [maybe]tell the rest of the group.
I hope there won't be an ambush but it was pretty much how Henry described it. What he was saying to Jack and Locke looked like what Sayid and Ana and Charlie were walking into.

I don't think there will be an ambush. I think Henry was just messing with their heads.. I think there will be something bigger than an ambush..(eta)although I'm not completely convinced that Henry is an Other yet.
As Henry was telling his little scenerio to Jack and Locke, you could see the two men realizing that he got to them. Their looks were almost like stunned. If an ambush would happen like he described, I think it would be great. Maybe they would stop all the bickerring and get down to business. They really need to go Rambo on the "others" and see what the heck is going on in the "others" part of the island!
I think even before Henry said anything, most of US realized that this was a huge possibility. Personally, I HOPE they do get ambushed, just because it will be fun to watch and exponentially more interesting than them finding the balloon and walking back to camp. In the preview:
Spoiler:
We see the balloon, but I'm still hoping for the ambush!
