The whole truth - Henry

What if the title of the episode, "The Whole Truth" is referring to what Henry said at the end about the ambush

Re: The whole truth - Henry

He was lying, think about it:-
Q. If there is an ambush waiting and sayid, Ana and Charlie are attacked then the Losties know he's an Other, so why would he tell them about an ambush before hand?
A. Because there isn't an ambush waiting and he knows it, the party will come back safe and sound after finding
Spoiler:
the balloon
and the Losties will have to accept that he's not an Other.

I think i can sort-of-maybe prove that Gale was once an Other, but isn't anymore, but it's pretty complicated.

No, I just don't think so...I think it just refers to Jack's comment to Sun. Whatever happens next, I dont think Henry has ever told the whole truth.

Re: The whole truth - Henry

I agree, we're not getting the whole truth from Henry at all. For a supposedly innocent man, I think he is acting strangely. Especially when he said to Jack & Locke something along the lines of "you guys don't know much do you? If I were you I would have been asking all sorts of questions". But how does he know that they don't know much?? Just because they didn't answer his questions? They didn't want to give him any information but that wasn't to say that they didn't know anything......unless he is an Other and he is fully aware that they have no idea what purpose pushing the button, or indeed the hatch itself, serves.

Henry may already be fully aware of the 'Whole Truth' of the hatch if he is an Other though.

Any ideas?

I sort of agree but it's interesting that he does the most most when he tells the truth i.e when he simply points out to Locke that Jack is the leader of the group, which leads to Lockes change in behavior .

As a Henry Gale apologist, I expect Sayid/Charlie/Ana Lucia to find the balloon.

What has me worried is the rain, which always signifies trouble for the Losties.

Excellent Point!

However, It is possible that Henry purpously got kidnapped, just so he could send a couple people to GET ambushed.

Otherwise there is no purpose for his statement, Why would he say something SO mysterious, SO menacing, to people who already on edge and who have already tortued him?
