Talking This Really Does Make Sense

Okay, so I have been reading some of your theories and I realized something that makes me believe the lockdown procedure is for the food replenishing. So if what some of you say is true, and the lockdown is there so someone like henry gale can enter the swan facility while the 2 others are locked in the computer room. then henry can fill there food stocks. Now I was thinking, okay so they do this as not to contaminate the other two people. But then I was thinking, if this virus is so terible that they have to seal off the other 2 while someone re-stocks there food, wouldnt it make sense that the food, who this other has been in direct contact with would have a high possibility of being contaminated. I thought on this for awile, and then I realized something. When the facility locks down, those UV lights turned on..... I dont know if you all know this, but UV rays are very effecient for killing bacteria, viruses and mold. so this whole thing does make sense. I mean, why would they have UV lights come on, but only while the faclity is in lockdown.
here is an excerpt from a site that sells UV Sterilizers

Introducing: Ultra Violet Air Sterilizer, a product manufactured from state of art technology for sterilizing the air within the sterilization chamber. An ultraviolet ray is a band of light with short wavelength from 2000 to 2950 angstrom units possess the greatest germicidal effect of all ultraviolet wavelength, particularly the wavelength of 2537 angstrom units, it is extensively used to destroy airborne bacteria, virus, mould pores etc.

Just google it and you can find many sites that sell similar products.

The UV lights werent triggered by the lockdown though they were triggered by the numbers not being entered.

Re: This Really Does Make Sense

UV for sterilization makes sense to me. And the food drop was synchronized with the lockdown. But ...1) The drop was near Swan Station, not in the Others territory. Maybe the Others cannot tell the resupply people where to drop the food? Or it implies that the Others told the resupply people to drop a load near the Losties. That fits in with my theory that the Others need the names of the survivors in order to do a Google search and find out who is good and bad, then remove the good people.2) I've always been suspicious of Desmond. His pantry was FULL. How could he eat from it for 1-2 years and the pantry is still full ? It appears he is an Other, getting food drops and resupplying the pantry.3) Danielle has been on the island for 16 years and never saw a food drop ?4) Who drew the map on the door with invisible-in-normal-light paint? What happens if you shine ultraviolet light on Desmonds cave-wall paintings ? Are there other drawings on other walls ?5) Why drop the doors and sterilize the room ? Someone will just track in mud on their shoes and contaminate it again in an hour.
5) And how do I force this thing to STOP STRIPPING OUT MY CARRIAGE RETURNS ???
