Blood Red Water as Hurley Looks Over Cliff

Did anyone else notice....

About 59 minutes into the episode, right after NOT Henry said to Locke that he was through lying, and there was a close-up of Locke's face, then the camera switched to Hurley looking over the cliff where Dave fell to his death. For a fraction of a second, you can freeze-frame with DVR (VCR would probably be easier), butthe water is blood red and is in a mysterious shape of something.

Did anyone else notice this? I don't have the ability to cap. Perhaps someone can go to the episode and make a cap. It's not noticeable when viewing in real time. You have to freeze-frame or frame-by-frame. Interesting and made for us to see...intentional.

wow.. well, I didn't notice this but if what you are saying is true, and I have no reason to doubt it, it would be completely awesome! Hopefully someone will see this soon and get a screen cap of it! wow... this will be awesome if proven to be true!

Oh, it's true. I've taken pics with the digital camera, best I could do. I don't know how to upload them here. I may have to provide a link elsewhere for you to look at it. Its VERY interesting.

I went back and looked, but I don't see anything but blue ocean water with white waves. The shot of Locke is immediately followed by a few seconds of oceanview, then by Hurley looking over the cliff and yelling "Dave!!". Are you referring to the switch from Locke's face to the ocean? Just wanna make sure...

Here's the best I could do. A picture taken of the screen with my digital camera. You can download it from www.mytempdir.com with this link:

One of those things....I just saw part of the screen flash red for just a second and wondered what it was and backed it up and freeze-frame...and there it was.

Cool, huh?

Re: Blood Red Water as Hurley Looks Over Cliff

Now I see it on my DVR, too...the redness fades out over the next 3-4 frames and completely diappears. Possible Camera or film anomaly?

Good find...
