Nadia is alive!

I've seen a few posts which speculated whether Nadia is alive. Nadia is alive. Remember one of the last two episodes (either "Dave" or the one before which revealed Henry wasn't Henry)? Well, Nadia was in THAT episode.

Replay that episode! You'll see Nadia is Locke's customer at the house which Locke was inspecting. Nadia told Locke she didn't have a husband - she never married (if you were paying attention you'd put two and two together realizing Nadia must have been in love with Sayid and thus, never married).

Anyway, with all of the attention focused on Henry Gale being tortured...everyone forgot about Nadia. Of course, I didn't : )

Re: Nadia is alive!

But you don't know when she was a customer for Locke....It could have been before she was killed...I can't be sure....Didn't sayid go to Australia looking for her? and was we were lead to believe to she died....

I think it just shows a connection between Locke and Sayid...

Re: Nadia is alive!

No...the CIA agents in The Greater Good tell Sayid that Nadia is alive and she is a lab tech (do I detect a possible Dharma connection?) in California. She is alive when Sayid gets on the plane.

Re: Nadia is alive!

I totally missed that part. I finally saw the screencap and was like hey, that's Nadia! So all it shows to me is a connection between Locke and Sayid. But Locke had hair in that flashback and we don't know when that whole event took place. So I can't say for sure when that happened.

I have been callling her Norra! Ooops!

Very good point though Blue Coral, I think there'll be a bitter sweet twist to this tale... Locke had a fair bit of hair then and she was selling up... maybe she had been in California but was moving on to a new place, maybe a new city?

Sayid is moving around the world looking for her, maybe she's doing the same thing?

Wouldn't it be typical Lost for us to find out that she was there but he missed her, possibly by years?

Re: Nadia is alive!

Sayid and Nadia parted in 1997. (2004 crash - "I've been searching for seven years" - Sayid to Danielle)

Locke became paralyzed in 2000. (2004 - "I've been living with my condition for four years")

Assuming it would take awhile for Nadia to escape Iraq, move to Orange County, get a good job and buy a nice house, that puts the Locke/Nadia encounter between 1998 and 2000.

Usually it's the buyer that hires an inspector.

Excuse me if this is off topic but... where did Sayid meet Shannon before 2004?

I do suspect a DHARMA connection with Nadia, but as people have discussed before: if Nadia were on the island, it would be stupid... kind of.
