Cool Questions about Jate & a thanks for SOS

Hi Leonard Dick

I just want to thank you for writing S.O.S

I loved that eppi and thought how the entire thing was written was grade A material. I loved Rose and Bernards back stories. I waited ever since Rose clutched her ring with Charlie and Jack back in season one for her flashback and wanted to find out even more when we met Bernard from the tallies was her other half. Bravo

Another storyline I have been following closely since the very begining of LOST was the Jack and Kate relationship or what us people lovingly call on the boards Jate. Its seems in this eppi a lot of things came full circle and a couple of elehants in the room were finally adressed. For instance the main one THE KISS , the medical hatch Kate and Claire found that was not mentioned, Henry, and several other issues JATE had been dealing with. I think how you guys wrote it was a work of art and finally answered that fan bases questions of when in the world are they going to talk about these things? Im glad you adressed all of them in one eppisode and did not string us along with it. I also love the net scene. It was a good way of not forcing a conversation between Jate about their issues because it is not in their characters yet to be that emotionally open with each other. I love the net scene. It was funny, smart, crackiling with chemistry and inventive. Kudos

A few questions about JATE and the characters of Jack and Kate seperately if you can answer any of them.....

1) When will we learn more about Jacks past? although we have been given the most flashbacks by him and Locke this season I feel like we have barely scratched the surface into what the real reason he is on the island. Ecspecially an island that has strong themes of redemption. You dont have to tell me exactly what happened in his past. You can be very vauge but was there another thing most likely very tragic that made him who he is today? I mean there has to be a reason he beats up on himself so much, cant handle death very well, is as assertive as he is, his reasons for believe in science instead of faith, his fathers alcholism (did Jack do something tragic in his childhood to drive him to drink?) In other words are we going to learn the real reason that makes Jack tick?

2) Will we ever learn what happened to jacks father with the empty casket?

3) Will we learn more about Kates childhood love Tom more and who she was before Wayne entered her life?

4) Can you give us any more good news about Jate before the season ends without spoiling anything? you can be as vauge as you want just give us something! anything at all!

Thanks for taking the time to listen to your fans. You all are awsome
