Re: the Rock structure

Hard to tell, it could almost be a natural landmark, just used for reference, it could hold another purpose to the others, i dont know what, but it could do. It does look slightly man made though,m as in placed there by man. E.G the others.

Re: the Rock structure

I got the feeling it was just a landmark that Michael was going to use as guidance, but this is Lost...

It looked like an old crumbled fort wall to me....

Re: the Rock structure

The question is, does anyone from Hawaii recognize it?

A naturally occurring rock formation like that would almost HAVE to have a name, like Devil's Tower in Wyoming (albeit not as massive).

Re: the Rock structure

If the hatches are from WW2 like someone suggested once, the rocks could be from old castle.
It would fit into a lot of peoples "time theories".

Re: the Rock structure

I'm wondering if it has a connection to the new Dharma logo, the verticle rectangle?

..Never realised it was that much similar..hmm could it be used to point out its location from above, E.G like the cirlce/question mark (depending which you think it is) on the pearl hatch to point it out from above like eko suggested. Does that mean the swan hatch has a giant swan logo nearby to point it out? :P

Stonehenge. Definitely Stonehenge. My class had an uncontrollable urge to chant Druidic tonalities. Right now we're burning a goat.

Re: the Rock structure

good idea re: the similarity of the new dharma symbol and the rock formation. and i also think that michael may somehow be using it as a landmark. by the way - anyone know if that was a new musical theme for "the others" when the group drags michael into camp? i loved it.
