I mean, honestly, after killing off AL and Libby, it is only rational to kill Charlie. He has served his purpose, kicked his habit...and now that the church isn't being built, will become a rock on the beach, like Shannon was (and we all know what happened to that chick). Kill Charlie, and release him back to Middle Earth.
I for one wanna know who Charlie's dad was and why he was so afraid of him and I can definitely see the whole Charlie and Claire thing go somewhere.
Then Mr. Eko also was in England so there probably was a cross between him and Charlie, or Desmond for that matter (I mean he didn't see him face to face in the episode, so it could be).
By the way, please make sure to sign the Desmond petition, see my signature for the link
This comment shows that you aren't exactly sane...

Shannon died only because her story was done. Charlie's story can still go on, if you look for details like his dad in the dream, and the dreams itself.
Really, any character can die, even if the story is closed or not.
Characters die when the writers want dramatic effect. Ana, Boone, and Shannon's storys are done. That didn't stop them from killing Libby. No one is safe. No one NEEDS to die for that fact either. Charlie can still do stuff on the island. He won't die anytime soon...

Reason: Automerged Doublepost
Just to clarify, this is the "I'm just not that into you" section. It is for people who dislike the character of Charlie. It is perfectly acceptable to like the character of Charlie, but here is not the place to express that. Posts supporting Charlie do not belong in this section.
Also, insulting other posters is NEVER acceptable on this board.
