An earthquake just struck my area during the last 8 minutes of Lost, and all I could think of as I was holding on to my coffee table and listening to my dishes rattle was 'they better not break into the show before I see that new preview'!
So, what's the most obsessive thing Lost has caused YOU to do?
Ok, this is really embarrassing.....but, well, Lent is coming up - and usually a good resolution is to give up TV for that time period (6 weeks). Its amazing how much family time you can find to spend with each other when TV is not an option! Not to mention extra time to focus on prayer and meditation...
Well, we all discussed it (the addicted spouse and I, and the addicted kids) and the thought of giving up Lost was so horrifying we couldn't even continue the conversation. And that's a gift to GOD we were saying we just couldn't manage! :fear2:
I'm totally ashamed now...... (slinking away, hiding in back of room)
I think God would understand. *Think of all the religious references in the show. * *
He might even get mad if you didn't watch! *He might crash a plane you're travelling in, you could get Lost . . . hey, wait a minute, I'm getting obsessed again. :
I make sure nothing clashes with me watching LOST. In the beginning of the show I would unplug the phone especially if it was a new episode. no loud interuptions allowed, I need to fully concentrate on the show. now people know better to not bother me at 8.
i was talking on the phone to a friend and something about lost came on the tv in the background, and i said 'call ya back' and abruptly hung up on her!
Edit:* thought of another one, all this week i have been thinking it was the next day, monday i thought it was tuesday, tuesday i thought it was wednesday, and then today at work a co-worker asked me if i thought today was thursday, and i promptly said 'no it's wednesday', and she said 'oh yeah lost day!'* and sighed and walked away!* :-[
btw, what's sweeps month?* am i going to feel stupid not knowing?* :-[

it is the middle of the night (2am* my time) and look where i am!* ;D
I went to see 'Hide and Seek' with the honey last weekend and in the movie the little girl in the movie has a doll who is named Alex. I heard her call the doll Alex and the first thought I had was of Lost and Danielle's Alex. I also spend my entire work day on here, so that is enough of an obbsession!
February is one of the "sweeps" months. It's when the networks trot out their best episodes to get the best ratings possible. I'm not sure of the details, but we should expect some seriously great episodes!!
Another obsessive moment: After spending hours on The Fuselage after a great episode of Lost, I dreamt about it, and then woke up spouting theories!!!
In my economics class, we have to get with a partner and create situations concerning the public's relationship with business and govt. so we used characters from lost (ie Charlie, Claire, Sayid) and created situations for them before the crash. Like, their jobs, what they bought, what their wages were etc. lol. it's lots of fun! I've also incorporated Lost and some of its 'morals' into two english papers ;D
