Something Hidden on the Season 2 DVD

On the 7th DVD in the Lost Connections section once you make your way to the Desmond screen you can click the top cable on the left side and it will take you to a blank screen. The camera zooms in on the screen and it turns into the moniter from the computer in the hatch. If you have numbers on your DVD remote you can type in the numbers and the screen changes back. A short loop plays with the numbers floating around but you can click on cables that show short clips detailing specific numbers. At the end of the video for 8 the psychic tells Claire about flight 815 and the numbers 8 and 15 show up on the screen. Then it says 8+15=23 and then 4+8+15+16+23+42=108 then the number 108 zooms in. It gets some static for a second and then you see a copy of the Valenzetti Equation book by Gary Troupe. Could this mean that they are finally gonna release a copy of the book for sale?

Re: Something Hidden on the Season 2 DVD

WHOAH.

Screenshots, please? :-)

And I'm assuming if that's there... it has to do with the game. The Valenzetti Equation so far has been an Experience only thing with it only appearing on the show on the Blast Door Diagram. I tried going through the Connection Experience last night but the controls were a little wonky. Great stuff though, especially Carlton's voiceover about The Theory of Centrality (aka Six Degrees of Separation).

Re: Something Hidden on the Season 2 DVD

I found an easy way to get to the Desmond screen, it is the top cable on the left side of Jack's screen. Ok, I will try to get a screenshot now. May be impossible for me though.

Edit: Ok, it is impossibe, maybe someone else could do it.

Actually, now that I have the newest video fragments on Hanso Exposed we know that the numbers are just the core numerical values of the Valenzetti Equation. Maybe this was just solidifying the idea.

There are several people that connect you to the waving person I think. So far I've found that Jack and Claire both connect you to him/her.

Re: Something Hidden on the Season 2 DVD

If you want to find out the quick way can't you just go to the waving person and click the links from there? And if they are related to both Jack and Claire and some way then that must mean that they met jack in Austalia. Or at least it is likely. Anyways, that is not the topic at hand I am sure that there is another post about that somewhere.
