Means to an end
So it would appear that a lot of fans would like to make a lot of suggestions for features on future LOST DVD sets but the sue-happy society of today has put a huge roadblock in the way of that particular avenue of creative brainstorming.
Couldn't you whip up a quick, simple waiver document? Then you could attach it to a email to Johnny Lostviewer saying "Hey Johnny, we really liked your idea of a "what Kate did... when nobody was looking" short and would like to include it in our Season X DVD set. For creative reasons we require that you complete a form that waives any creative ownership of this concept. Print this, sign it and fax it to us or go to this website and complete the waiver form." The form would say the legalese equivalent of "Yeah my idea was really awesome but I don't want paid for it or a credit anywhere, I just want to see it on the DVD set. Love Johnny."
No? Too much squeeze for too little juice? Better things to do with your time (like putting a Season 3 DVD set together)?
