Karl

Anyone have any guesses about Karl's story? He asked Sawyer about the "people from his plane," so I guess he wasn't one of the tail-section survivors the Others nabbed on the first few nights. Do you think he is a survivor from some other sort of crash on the island? Or could his captivity and escape be some sort of "experiment" that he was in on all along?

In light of the spoiler
Spoiler:
that there are 2 groups of Others, do you think he could possibly be part of the second group?

Re: Karl

Did you see the kid that was fixing something at Juliet's house? It was Karl. It was the same kid - or his twin or clone...it was the same kid that was in the cage next to Sawyer...

He had a key...I think he was a plant...I think that he did what he did on purpose and someone beat him up to make it look convincing...I think the questions that he asked were just part of his act...

Re: Karl

I'm not sure what Chachi was up to. It seems that he and Sawyer made some eye contact of understanding. I think Jack and Michael made the same eye contact when Michael was leaving with Walt. But, that's a whole 'nother story.

the sites acting really funky tonight by the way. i got redirected at one point.

Re: Karl

I think he was planted there by the Others to see how Sawyer would respond to different stimuli.

The person fixing the plumbing was not Karl. It was whatsisface that got sent off to pretend to be a survivor. (Not Goodwin, the other one.)

Not sure I buy it, he didn't get that many questions in, or even ones that the others didn't already know about. I though I saw a lock pick or peice of metal, not a key, but I'll have to go back to make sure.

LOL! I may have to quote you, MBL, and put that last line in a spot near my avatar! Thanks for the compliment! I've learned everything I know from the brains in the Tiberius Thread. They are the real Jedis!

HOWEVER...it is the same kid! I could be wrong, but I don't think so...

Re: Karl

Yeah it definitely seemed like Karl was an Other, trying to get something out of Sawyer

but if they have that huge file on Jack, then why would they need to know? Just to mess with them?

Re: Karl

Maybe Karl was planted to "bust" Sawyer out just to see what he would do. Juliett didn't seem that surprised when she caught him in the jungle, like she was expecting him.
