Juliet

What does everyone think of her? They made a pretty big deal about her casting and it seems like she'll be a really important character.

It's hard to say after just one episode, but she kinda rubbed me the wrong way. I didn't really like her for some reason. She comes across as nice to Jack, but I think she's playing him - doing what Henry/Ben told her to do. Maybe since Jack is my favorite character that's why I don't like her!

There were a few parts where she kind of reminded me of Libby and it made me wish she was still around

Re: Juliet

I miss Libby.

Anyway, I'm not sure about Juliet yet. I don't trust her, but she obviously has "issues" with Benry. She might be persuaded to switch sides... hard to tell yet.

Re: Juliet

She's hotter than Kate, but I'd have to see her side by side with Sun to call that one !

Re: Juliet

I got the sense that Juliet is NOT happy. At the beginning when she puts on the music to get ready for the book club it is like she is about to cry and is pulling herself together.

What a strange scene that was.

Right, I forgot about that scene. There is obviously some tension between her and Ben/Henry.

We will see about this Juliet... she just better be nice to my Jack!

I noticed that as well. I really liked Juliet actually, and I'm really looking forward to more scenes between her and Jack. I think she was instructed to break Jack and while she did succeed, she seemed almost sarcastic when she said Thanks to Benry. It seems to me like she isn't exactly thrilled with Benry's leadership - do you remember how annoyed she got when someone at the book club said that Ben didn't like the book, and she immediately started going off about free will? There's definitely a lot of tension there, which I think makes her automatically sympathetic to Jack. It's too early to tell exactly where her loyalties lie, but I don't think she's exactly on the same page as Benry.

Re: Juliet

Did anyone else think when the show started that she looked exactly like Penny--Desmond's girlfriend?

Re: Juliet

Also, in the intro, he makes a remark about being out of the book club. Kinda felt like they were a divorced couple, or could have been just me!
