I'm sorry if anyone has all ready said this. I think that the others are trying to break Down Jack. Jack never gives up, he never gives in. the others are training him to give in sometimes. they want him to be stronger within him self. I mean, why would Juiliet trust him to stay against the wall the first time? It doesn't add up unless they're trying to train Jack. Why else would Benry close the door. Also, I may have heard wrong, but I'm pretty sure that intercome in jacks cell, said let it go Jack.
You're right that the voice on the intercom said, "Let it go, Jack". It sounded a lot like
his dad(Christian). I think Jack was hallucinating from the drug/dehydration.
as for the rest... you could be right. They are most likely wanting there particular three
Losties to join the Others. I'm thinking that they intend to indoctrinate them over the
next two "unpleasant" weeks.
that's what i thought too. ben told her she did a good job when she finally succeeded in getting him to follow simple directions and form a small bond with him. Either it was break him down so he will get the other losties to join us or bond him with juliet against ben so he can be further manipulated.

I think Juliet hates her environment, the song illustrates her longing for somewhere else and eventually, she could turn against the society she is part of.
Everything seems to be too rigid and orchestrated for her liking.
And i picked up on her insecurity about her situation.
She obviously has an urge to express herself, maybe not what the others would deem a model citizen in Othersville/Bungalow City.

Yes, it seems they are working on breaking all three - Jack, Kate and Sawyer. They split them up and will now start working on them. They found Jack's Achilles' heel with Sarah - a good place to start if you want to break Jack. They are breaking him down to build him back up, but to their standards.
