Re: How did Polar Bear get off Hydra Island?

polar bears = very strong swimmers

that distance - no problem !

there are records of them swimming 60 miles in 11 hours......

Re: How did Polar Bear get off Hydra Island?

So, either the others released the bears on the island or they broke out and swam to the island? I prefer to think that the others released the polar bears so that they'd attack our losties.

Re: How did Polar Bear get off Hydra Island?

i would imagine that they had been free on the island well before the losties got there ( years )
but the third scenario is that someone else released them - the other Others ??

Re: How did Polar Bear get off Hydra Island?

F/Benry told Juliette that the "sub" had arrived (referring to Connie's arrival, so maybe it was a code word for sail boat, but maybe it had a double meaning. Maybe not)

Swimming bears, meet the Dharma shark(s?)

Maybe I interpreted the blast door map in the Swan wrong, but it would appear that the Hydra hatch is on the main island, not on a neighboring one. So either the map is wrong or their playing yet another head game with Sawyer. Or I remembered it wrong, which is also highly likely as well, but in this case, at leas I don't think so...
