"Second Chance" Island, Resurrection, Reincarnation, and Avatars....

Second Chance...
It seems interesting to me that Locke is convinced that everyone on the island gets a second chance.

Seems also like all the Lostaways have been given a chance to make things right. A second chance at a situation they faced before and felt maybe they could have done better.

Shannon gets a second chance at being decent and not "using" people.
Syid... he missed the chance to be with Nadia... he's got a chance with Shannon now.

Charlie bungled with his girlfriend... stealin' junkie... Now he's got a chance to make up with Claire.
Claire's got a second chance at a daddy for her baby.

Sawyer got a second chance with the boar and he let it go.
Walt and his son... Michael is trying to be better.

I think maybe we're begining to see the division of "sides".

Some of these folk when presented with the same situation stay true and choose the same path. Others when presented with a second chance are doing something different. They're changing the way they originally thought about the situation and trying to make things better.

There will be those that profit by this second chance... and those that will be haunted by it.

Resurection, Reincarnation...
All three of these play with the second chance theme. All the people in the past that we've been researching due to some obscure clue or... tin reference... we picked up on Tesla from the VERY THIN connection with the cable leading into the water. Oddly enough, we don't know what Tesla was doing during the 1930's AND there's been speculation that Adam and Eve could be Amelia Earhardt and Jack(?) Noonan, her navigator. We know they disappeared in the same general vicinity in 1937.

Avatars...
An Avatar is bodily, in the flesh, manifestation of (typically) a Hindu god. Why are they used here on the board? Coincidence... Is it not possible that the strange animals and sitings that are happening have something to do with people in the Lostaways pasts being manifested on this island?

I know this a bunch to bite off... but think about it... there's an eerie connection here. It's definately pseudoscience... but it seems to gel.

You lost me there between the second-chance theory and the reincarnation/Tesla one, no pun intended.* Could you elaborate on how the Tesla theory fits in?
