Mr. Sulu?

Is there any more information pertaining to the rumor of DDK being Mr. Sulu in Star Trek? I am not much of a fan of Star Trek (my husband is), though I am obviously a fan of JJ Abrams...I am just hoping DDK will be on LOST a bit longer!

I'm still a bit pissed that they're moving backwards instead of forwards, in terms of Star Trek as a franchise, but it would be nice to see DDK playing a young Sulu, even though DDK is the same age as George Takei was when he was in the original series. lol.

I'd think Masi Oka (Hiro) would be better fit to portray Sulu, but I guess he's too short and rotund.

I thought that too, especially since Takei plays his dad in "Heros"
