Ulterior motives

It seems that the search and rescue group, Sayid, Kate, Locke, & Danielle, all have something to hide .... they all seem to want to find the others' camp for different reasons, Kate to rescue Jack, Locke to kill Ben?, Danielle to see her daughter (or trade the rest of the group for her daughter) and Sayid, what is his real reason?

To get Jack, since he asked Locke if he was really along to help Jack.

Re: Ulterior motives

This issue is key. I'm most intrigued by Locke's agenda.

Spoiler:
Apparently, after the assault on Otherville, Locke and Sayid abandon Kate to fend for herself. I can't even imagine how this will happen...

Re: Ulterior motives

Spoiler:
I can see Kate acting very irrational due to Jack's response of "leave me here", and wanting to stay. Whereas Sayid probably accompanies Locke to keep him from ruining anything else.

That's why I think they'll split

Re: Ulterior motives

DOesn't Sayid still blame the Others for Shannon's death?

Re: Ulterior motives

I don't think Locke wants to kill Ben. If anything he's still operating under the assumption that Ben was coming to get him because he's one of the "good" ones.

Re: Ulterior motives

Locke is definitely in confrontation mode. He's had the wool pulled over his eyes by almost everyone in his life... it's time he holds someone accountable for his lies. Ben is going down.
