Rose and Sayid's Verbal Smackdown of Jack

I laughed outloud when Rose said she liked Jack since he got back..."You're almost and optimist...

And then Sayid reminding Jack that he is the self proclaimed leader..and it was time for him to lead.

Seemed to give Jack some perspective..no?

I loved that, too!

But if you think about it, Jack has been pretty much a pessimist his entire life (no thanks to dad!)

I like Rose and Sayid, period. One of their best traits is they say what they think, and don't mince words. Good on them!

Then she laid into Bernard. They're on a deserted island and she's still telling him how to dress!

I always though Jack was pushed into the leadership role and kicked against the goad of it right up until this epi....Sayid actually seemed to be helping Jack accept the burden imo....and I thought both Rose and Sayid were glad to see the Jack they knew back....I have always loved Rose and Jack interactions....she has always taken the micky out of Jack (I love it)

Sayid and Jack have always had the same ends in mind..they just have different means. That showed up strong tonight. Jack needed to lead the LOSTies to safety and just needed a little reminder to that.
