DEATH!!!! Its everywhere

I am either going to look like an idiot for mentioning this because it has probably already been brought up previously but oh well here goes. Has anybody else noticed how a lot of the main characters are either directly or indirectly responsible for someone else's death?
Jack,Sawyer,Kate,Sayeed,Charlie have all in some way contributed to or been responsible for the loss of another human life.
