I don't think that he feels exactly the same way about Juliet. Especially since she helped them save his friends in the finale. When I first watched this, I really thought she'd have shot Kate, but now I know she wouldn't have. They still needed them for their little Jack drama. With Kate dead, Jack wouldn't have had any incentive to do the surgery. They would probably have had more success with Jack if they had simply threatened Kate, but then they wouldn't have been able to use Kate as an experiment for their litte fertility research project.
True but that does not justify Juliet's actions.
However, they pale to Pickett's action in this episode. He is a very angry and evil man.
I just noticed on rewatch, how people mistakenly assume that the Kwons are innocents. Sayid was surprised that Jin understood his English and challenged his strategy, but -- watch Sayid's reaction when Jin handles the gun! Sayid is explaining how to use a gun when he realizes that Jin already knows. Torturer Sayid has nothing on enforcer Jin.
And the Other was so sure that sweet looking Sun wouldn't pull the trigger. Surprise again!
I think Paik was trying to teach his daughter a lesson with the glass ballerina - to be honorable and admit what she'd done in the face of what would happen to the maid. Instead he taught her a different lesson - that Sun can get whatever she wants. She sure showed how well she lies in this episode.
I also noticed, that Jin never killed anyone. His gun didn't even work in the S3 finale. Could it be that Jin is the only one to date who has NOT killed? Wow.
I'm not a big Sun fan, I'm not a shipper, and I don't care for the cage scenes that seemed to dominate the first half of season 3. Needless to say, most of this episode was only moderately more enjoyable than a root canal for me. The final scene, with Jack and Ben, however, was great. The look on Jack's face as he watched the Sox win the series was perfect, and the visual effect was amazing, with Jack on the other side of the glass and the reflected image from the TV screen superimposed.
Why do I want to believe there is an element of truth to the things Ben says? It's lines like this that make me think that we will be in for some big surprises during season 6...

JACK: If you could leave this island why would you still be here?
I think it's very interesting that Ben and the Others didn't know about Desmond's boat.
Love hearing the cow mooing in the background.
"When the time is right, I will take you there. Home".
