A couple of Season 4 Observations & Theories from a 1st Time Poster

When Abaddon first approached Hurley asking him, "Are they still alive!?" I took that to mean he somehow had a vested interest in the rest of the Oceanic 815 survivors. Obviously that isn't the case. I feel since he was the one who atleast "organized" the search for BENJAMIN LINUS he represents the Hanso Corp.

They are probably pretty ***MOD EDIT *** that Ben killed off the entire community. So they are going after him.

BUT since communication and arriving to/leaving the Island are odd things they may not be sure Ben killed them all off. They may just know something's up and he's behind it.

Therefore his "Are they still alive?" question to Hurley could mean the Search Party he sent, Ben and the Others, or maybe even the original Dharma Initiative.

Now for Ben's "Man on the Boat", the mole if you will.

I feel this has got to be

We all know he is coming back this Season. The boat seems the logical choice for his return. I'm guessing Michael, like we've seen with Hurley & Jack, could not stand the pull of the island demanding him back. Michael being Ben's mole seems like a solid twist they would go for...oh yeah and at the very LEAST we know Michael is on that boat.

Why?

Because as even Jack says himself they don't seem to be very surprised to find out people survived Oceanic 815 crash. If they already had a survivor with them this would make sense. Also since he's gotten on and off the island he'd be their expert in the most important of tasks...finding the damn place...

And finally a theory I just came up with as I typed these ramblings...why were the people on the freighter chosen? What if it is because they were all SUPPOSED to be on the flight and thus can survive.

We know the pilot was SUPPOSED to be on the flight. At the beginning the bearded guy was crying when he saw the news of the wreckage being found. That would be a natural reaction if you were supposed to be on such a flight.

What if NAOMI is the only one who had nothing to do with the flight. And that is how she ended up dead?

She didn't belong on the timeline of the Island like the others...

My question now is that if

is on the ship why was Abaddon so adamant about there not being any survivors of 815. And how did

come in contact with these people. It makes me think Abaddon is behind some kind of cover up and possibly in charge of sending

back to the island with the other survivors. But then again, if that was the case you would think they would have sent him with the others in the helicopter since they may know about the difficulties getting on and off the island and may only have one shot. Who knows.

I have stated on other threads that I think the Dharma Initiative must know what happened on the Island,
1- The Sub could not just dock any where but at the Dharma Dock .
2- The Initiative knew where the Island is because of the supply air drops .
3- The Initiative whould have been resivivg reports on Island Experaments .

If that's a spoiler... I want to live under the same rock, because this show would be awesome if it were possible to avoid something like that, which has been written up in every magazine article and newspaper article on the show this season.

It doesn't matter how often something has been mentioned in the media, the fact remains that it's info about unaired episodes and as such is still a spoiler according to the site rules. Sure, there most likely aren't many posters who haven't heard about that particular spoiler, but once we start making exceptions for one particular spoiler or even for particular types of spoilers, where do we stop? And it's hard enough to keep the board as spoilerfree as it is (you really don't want to know how many hours I spent last week just spoiler fonting posts in the section for TBOTE!), we don't need something to make our "jobs" even more complicated...
