Evangeline Interview on the Official Lost Podcast

Just listened to her short interview on the Official Lost Podcast. One surprising statement she makes is that, if not Kate, Evangeline would've loved to play the role of mommy Claire.
I find this hard to grasp, considering that Kate gets like 10x more screen time than Claire.

yeah Evi always said if she can be anyone else on the show she would be Claire, because she loves to be a mommy, have a baby.

I don't think it has anything to do with airtime. Evangeline has said she envied Emilie, getting to work and play with the babies. She mentioned a few months ago that she wanted Kate to be pregnant because she wanted to wear the belly suit/thing. No way would I want to wear that thing in the heat of Hawaii.

I think she prefers the term "mum" or "mummy." She certainly used it a lot in that interview.
