I think the best thing to do will be for you to see the phantom of the paradise..;because my english is very bad so it's hard for me to explain but i'm gonna try...it's a sort of
70's version of the
phantom of the opera...it's a
brian de palma movie.
The movie is all about
music from the 70's (we always hear that kind of music in lost, and charlie was composer) there's of course the guy whose supposed to be the phantom Winslow, he's a
composer and plays
piano (like jack and charlie), the girl he loves who is a singer Phoenix and the guy named
Swan (swan station) who
doesn't age (like richard in lost) because he sold his heart to the devil (the devil is appearing to him when he was about to commit
suicide (like locke, desmond,radzinsky
)...the devil's form was himself in a
mirror) , Swan marry Phoenix. Swan is very well known in the world of the music his society is named Death record....the sigle is a
dead bird (like the ones we saw in mobisode Room 23).
At one point in the movie we hear
Good vibrations, and in the beginning they are talking about
xanadu and
disneyland(we had a reference to xanadu in eggtown and to good vibration in the season 3 finale). Swan is taking
drugs (like charlie...)
Swan stole Winslow's music ...Winslow goes to jail (looks like azkaban...seems to be on an
island) they cut his
teeth in
jail (bernard is a dentist), he has an accident and his face is...you know like the phantom of the opera...so he starts wearing a
mask (there's planty of masks in Ben's house/ben's multiple identity and lies suggests that he's wearing a mask...psychologically) ...and starts working for Swan after the incident his
voice left (like Locke and juliet when they arrived on the island) with computers Swan gives him a new voice.
And i read somewhere that the phantom was inspired by
Dark vador and i think it's true because there's really something there... and we all know that our beloved scenarists love Star wars.

Talking about Obession...i have an idea what if Juliet was ben's daughter...it would explain the "you're mine" like i said in another thread...and it would also explain why she looks like her...if her is ben's mother it's her grand mom..;and if her is Annie it's possibly her mother...
