How did Locke know what Charlie said...

Hey everyone,

This is my first post ever, I've been reading The Fuselage since about a year now, and I really did'nt catch if any of you guys posted something regarding about what Locke said to Hurley about Charlie. I do remember people talking about how did Locke know about the "Not Penny's Boat" line that Charlie wrote on his hand before his death.

But the thing is, I recently watched season 3 finale again and just before Charlie sees Penny and the camera follows Desmond walking near the moon pool area, we think were watching Desmond, but the first shot it is Locke who appears instead of Desmond, and right after he passes through a shadow it is Desmond again.

I never saw this before, and I don't remember it been mentioned in this part of The Fuselage... so if any of you guys did, please point me in the right direction so I can learn a little bit about what you guys think about this.

I'll have to go watch that scene again, as I don't recall that. I haven't seen anyone mention this before.

Maybe I'll have something valuable to contribute after I watch it again.

After viewing the screen caps, thanks Sam G., and rewatching the scene I just don't see Locke anywhere. Would've been cool.

It was about 2:24 on the counter I was watching and it did looked like Des had a swim cap on one instant and not the next. I think that is when he's turning?

Ok, I see the part that you're talking about now. It is very strange that as soon as he passes behind that bar he's back to full head of hair Desmond. Not sure if it is a swim cap or what. I'm not certain that it's Locke though, that just wouldn't make a lick of sense.
